It takes a lot more than 6-figure followers to call yourself an influencer.

From branding and content creation to engagement ratings and digital analytics, there is a lot that goes into creating and capitalizing on “likes.”

We’re excited to host some of Texas’ leading social media experts to talk about their approach to “influencer culture” and how your organization should and can take advantage of this movement.

This session is perfect for marketing trying to understand:

  • How do I use social media to build trust, increase sales, or connect with my audience?

  • How do I turn my content marketing efforts into revenue?

  • What content should I be producing for my audience?

  • What is the difference in a content creator and an influencer?

  • How do I customize content on different platforms while staying true to my voice?

  • What’s the difference in someone with a lot of followers and a true “influencer”?

Get behind the scenes with today’s top influencers including social media coach and YouTuber Roger Wakefield, marketing strategist and author of The Influencer Code Amanda Russell, Austin Food Magazine Editor Hayden Walker, and author and blogger Jane Ko in this panel discussion hosted by Tria Foster of Blue Fish Group.

The Austin AMA is collaborating with chapters from across the country to showcase how local influencers quickly rose to global audiences using online strategies and techniques. We take a look behind the curtain of top influencers to understand how they rose to fame and uncover tactics that can help you in your marketing role.

Join us Thursday, June 17th, 5-6:15pm

for this discussion.
