Join Austin AMA and author Dr. Debra Zahay-Blatz as we read and discuss her book Digital Marketing Management: A Handbook for the Current (or Future) CEO (second edition).

This book is told from the perspective of marketing strategy and puts digital marketing in the context of firm strategy selection, giving the reader insight into where to start on the path to an integrated digital marketing management strategy.

Dr. Zahay-Blatz will join us each month to lead the discussion. Here's the breakout of what we'll be reading for each session:

Dr. Zahay-Blatz functions as a trusted advisor to Presidents, marketing executives, and company owners helping them to define their strategy, identify, and reach their best customers, often using data-driven technology applications. She is a "bleeding edge" researcher, teacher and consultant in the digital and interactive space. Her areas of expertise include Data-Driven Digital Marketing, Internet Marketing and Education, Social Media Marketing, Data Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Building Customer Databases and Data Quality and Customer Relationship Management (CRM). She is a Digital Marketing Professor and Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Research in Interactive Marketing.

As Professor of Digital Marketing, she teaches all aspects of data-driven digital and social marketing, including database marketing, data mining, SEO/SEM and social media marketing. She is a co-author of the leading Internet Marketing text, Roberts and Zahay, Internet Marketing: Integrating Online and Offline Strategies.

Dr. Debra Zahay holds her Doctorate in Marketing from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, her Master of Management from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinios, her Juris Doctor from Loyola University in Chicago and her undergraduate degree from Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Zahay researches how firms can facilitate customer relationships, particularly using customer information.
